Torqueo B-12GH Exclusive
The Torqueo B-12GH Exclusive is a statement idler-drive turntable that takes Torqueo’s artisanal engineering and adds true three speed capability including 78 rpm. Each deck is built to order in Pescara, Italy using CAD designed mechanisms and hand finished cabinetry, with all critical parts machined from non magnetic stainless steel, musical brass, gunmetal bronze and high grade aluminium to extremely tight tolerances. The result is a platter drive that feels mechanically silent yet has immense torque and speed stability.
Beneath the sculpted plinth a fully overhauled motor unit is coupled to a high mass bearing and Torqueo’s pulley idler system, supported by a multi layer wood and metal chassis that is tuned for controlled resonance rather than deadness. Universal arm mounting makes it easy to partner classic or modern tonearms, while the supplied external power supply and copper Cu 2900 mat complete a package aimed squarely at listeners who want the dynamics and presence of classic idler designs in a modern, heirloom grade form.

Plinth construction: Multi layer plinth using very hard natural woods such as Ipè Lapacho (ironwood) and Finnish birch plywood, combined with metal parts and viscoelastic layers to control resonance while preserving harmonic richness
Finish and cabinetry: Hand built by master carpenters using traditional cabinet making and lute finishing techniques; each plinth is individually tuned and finished
Tonearm mounting: Universal mounting system with anti resonant anchor, designed to accept a wide range of tonearms via precision machined bronze, steel and brass hardware
