Torqueo Noce Compact Exclusive
The Torqueo Noce Compact Exclusive is the compact walnut version of Torqueo’s idler drive T-34 Exclusive, designed to combine classic idler energy with modern precision engineering. A high mass plinth in beautifully figured Noce (walnut) is paired with Torqueo’s pulley operated idler mechanism, using a rebuilt motor unit and a precision bearing assembly machined from bronze, stainless steel, brass and aluminium. The result is a drive system that feels mechanically silent but delivers instant torque and rock solid speed stability.
In Compact form the turntable sits on its own plinth while the tonearm is mounted on the outboard Pilastro base. This separates arm and motor mechanically, reduces resonance transfer and allows you to run one or more arms at ideal geometry. As with all Torqueo designs, each Noce Compact Exclusive is built to order in Italy, finished by hand and tuned as a musical instrument rather than a piece of laboratory equipment.
