Westminster Lab’s interconnect cables represent the brand’s core product discipline — a range of signal cables built on proprietary conductor metallurgy and geometry that have been refined through years of listening evaluation in the brand’s Hong Kong laboratory. The Autria Alloy conductor used throughout both Standard and Ultra tiers is a custom-specified material drawn to Westminster Lab’s precise grain structure requirements, chosen for its combination of electrical and mechanical properties rather than the marketing convenience of a familiar conductor designation.
All Westminster Lab cables employ the brand’s Vari-Twist geometry — a controlled variation of the twist pitch along the conductor pair that averages out the noise rejection characteristics across the cable’s length without the use of ferrous shielding materials. This approach preserves the openness and transient speed of an unshielded cable while delivering the noise rejection of a properly shielded design. Carbon fibre shielding at the termination ends provides additional isolation at the most noise-sensitive points of the cable.
The interconnect range is offered in two performance tiers: Standard, which provides a substantial step above commodity alternatives and suits most high-quality system contexts; and Ultra, which applies additional conductor treatment, more elaborate geometry control, and higher-specification terminations to achieve the ultimate in noise rejection and signal transparency.
