Westminster Lab OMNE

The OMNE challenges every assumption about integrated amplification. A fully balanced Class-A design machined from aircraft-grade aluminium — just 11cm tall — it houses four O-core transformers, 18 independent power supply rails, and a dual-mono architecture delivering 50 watts per channel of pure Class-A power. Engineered over several years and hand-built in Hong Kong, each unit requires more than 120 hours of assembly, burn-in, and individual calibration.

Description

Westminster Lab’s OMNE arrives at a singular proposition: that true reference-level performance no longer demands a rack of components. Instead, it demands extraordinary engineering, compressed into a form that belies its ambition.

At the heart of the OMNE is Westminster Lab’s proprietary iBIAS Class-A circuitry — a fully balanced, dual-mono architecture in which a complete preamplifier and two Class-A monoblocks share a single chassis of precisely machined aircraft-grade aluminium. The enclosure stands 11cm tall. It weighs 35 kilograms. The two facts say everything about how seriously this amplifier was conceived.

The Uni-Core Architecture eliminates all low-voltage signal wiring between boards, replacing it with aerospace-grade, gold-plated point-to-point connectors on custom circuit boards. The effect is a vanishingly low noise floor and negligible channel crosstalk — attributes that typically require the physical separation of a multi-box system. Four O-core transformers sit in a dedicated lower compartment, feeding 18 separate linear power supply rails, each isolated to its own circuit section. The precision 99-step volume control, developed entirely in-house, uses individual PCBs per channel to ensure perfect channel balance through the entire range.

Available in silver or black anodised aluminium, the OMNE is as composed aesthetically as it is technically — a discreet front-panel display the only concession to its considerable capabilities. For those who have always believed that high-end audio demands space, weight, and complexity, the OMNE is a considered, quiet rebuttal.
