THE TELOS™ by Durand Tonearms
THE TELOS™ is Durand’s top tonearm, created as a minimalist but highly refined unipivot that focuses on mechanical integrity and absolute adjustability rather than visual excess. Developed through extensive materials research, finite element analysis and exhaustive listening tests, it reduces the design to only what is functionally essential, which helps the arm feel extremely direct and free of mechanical blur.
A sculpted wooden armwand, constrained unipivot bearing in a sapphire cup and carefully optimised mass distribution give THE TELOS™ a medium-mass character that works with most modern cartridges. On the practical side, it offers comprehensive adjustment of VTA, SRA, azimuth, anti-skate and VTF, with a supplied jig and MintLP arc protractor to simplify setup. Like all Durand tonearms, it is built and assembled by hand in the USA.
