The J Sikora KV Max 12 is the pinnacle of J Sikora’s 12-inch tonearm programme — a fully refined iteration of the 12-inch format that applies the comprehensive Max upgrade specification to the longer arm geometry. Where the KV12 VTA offers 12-inch performance with the practical benefit of on-the-fly VTA adjustment, the KV Max 12 prioritises the absolute performance ceiling: tighter bearing tolerances, more advanced tube treatment, and a counterweight system optimised for the specific mass characteristics of a 12-inch arm.

The 12-inch effective length of the KV Max 12 produces tracking error angles across the groove radius that are inherently lower than those achievable with a 9-inch design — an advantage that becomes most apparent on complex inner-groove passages where distortion tends to accumulate.
